Little box- Big things

This is my little box of big things... inside it contains, notes, journals, a bag of change, a book, and a couple other significant pictures and items that are near and dear to me. I made mine out of a wine box when I was in 11th grade and I am constantly putting things in here.
My Future Husband Items
It holds my future wedding fund, my journal/letters to my future husband, and my list of what I want in a husband. These things are very important to me and I cant wait for the day that I get to give them to my future hubby.
A little bit of my artistic side
I've loved drawling since I was super little. I actually wanted to be an artist until I was about 10 years old... I keep these as motivation and to keep my creativeness flowing. They aren't museum quality, but sometimes it's nice to look at them and get a small boost of confidence and see a talent that I think I have... Makes me feel good.

Along with the items above it contains my prom pictures, the first flower my boyfriend ever picked me, a few crafts he made me, some notes I wrote down over the last few years, scriptures I like, and tons of similar things. I love this little box and I plan on starting one for my future children when they're going to be born.

Pin, Pin, Pin!!!

Check out my future wedding board here!
Pin! Pin! Pin!
Here's a glimpse into my future wedding board!

Date Jar
This is one of the cutest ideas!
You have your guests write an idea for a date on a stick and put it into the jar. Then when your married and it's date night you just pick a stick out of the jar and do what it says. You can also color the tips or put 1-3 dollar signs on them depending on the prices of the date. Love this idea because it gives your guests something to do during the reception so they aren't just sitting around or getting board while you take pictures. Other ideas are having guest write down ideas for your future child's name, writing marriage advice, and telling you their first memory of you guys being together!
Totally doing this at my wedding!
Invitation in a bottle

I love the idea of using cute and traditional cards as invitations for a wedding but I think I'm going to switch it up with something like this! I love it because it's cheap, cute, and creative! All you need is a bag of sand, a roll of string or twine, and however many invitation jars that you'll need! You can even replace the sand, which goes with a beach themed wedding, into grass for a spring wedding! I think I might use pine leaves since I want a forest wedding! Super cute and easy to make.

Keepin it clean

"I... I've been praying... and... I... I... I think you're my future... my future..."
"Just say it!!!....Does it start with a "W"?"
"Yes..."
"End in and "E" ?"
"Yes..."
"And have "if" in the middle?!?!?"
"...Yes..."

After two years of being my best friend... he finally told me.

My whole life I planned on staying pure until I had a ring on my finger and the words "I do" coming out of my mouth. I knew that the first man I dated would be the man that I would marry and that my first kiss would be shared with the same man I gave my first everything to. Thanks to my amazing boyfriend... I know those dreams of mine will come true. Yes, I am only 18 years old and I understand why some people would call me crazy, but I'm the kind of person who knows what they want and will fight until they get it.

Keepin it clean isn't very easy in a relationship, especially when you're confident that one day you'll get to share everything with that person... But I'm blessed enough to have a divine matchmaker holding my hand through the whole process. I didn't have my first kiss until 6 months after we were dating and I have not once been scared that our temptations would get the best of us. I'm keepin myself clean for God,  for myself, for my boyfriend, and for our future family. I love knowing that I'll be able to say follow in my foot steps. That I can say do as I did, not just as I say. That my boyfriend respects me enough to not push the limits. That he has his own boundaries for himself.

Guys... if a someone isn't trying to do anything physical with you just because you don't want them to... the chances of it working aren't likely. They've gotta want it for themselves and strive to protect your heart and their own. It might seem romantic and look like they'll respect you until you're married but typically their desires to be physical will over rule their desire to keep you happy.

Proverbs 18:22- He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.
